Application Process
Step 1: Login to TCS NextStep Portal
Candidates must log in to the TCS NextStep Portal.
Step 2: Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A (Existing User):
Candidates already registered under the IT category can log in using their CT/DT reference number, complete the application form, and click on Apply for Drive. - Scenario B (New User):
New candidates must register by selecting the category as IT, fill in all required details, submit the application form, and click on Apply for Drive.
Step 3: Select Test Mode and Center
Candidates must select In-Centre mode and choose their preferred test center. Center allotment is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Step 4: Track Application Status
Candidates should verify that their status shows “Applied For Drive” under Track Your Application.

- This is strictly an in-centre test
- Test-related communication will be shared by TCS iON, the official test partner
- Candidates must carry original academic documents at the time of interview (if shortlisted)
- TCS does not send job-related communication from unofficial email IDs
- TCS does not charge any fees for recruitment
- Any discrepancy or misrepresentation of data can lead to disqualification at any stage
Aadhaar & Profile Guidelines
- Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration
- First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth must match Aadhaar details
- CGPA must be converted to percentage as per university norms
- Changes to profile details are limited and should be done carefully before applying for the drive
Test & Result Information
- Test schedule will be communicated via email by TCS iON
- Shortlisted candidates will receive further instructions from the TCS Talent Acquisition Team
- Final work location will be discussed during the interview and assigned based on business needs
