About the Internship

MongoDB offers an impactful internship experience where interns engage with core engineering teams, collaborate with professionals across departments, and contribute to meaningful, production-oriented projects.

The company is hiring interns for two teams within its Data Engineering department:

1. Data Pipeline Engineering

  • Builds and maintains reliable data pipelines
  • Ensures accurate understanding of data sources and use cases
  • Empowers teams with training and resources to enable a data-driven culture

2. Data Platform & Infrastructure Engineering

  • Develops and maintains core data platform services
  • Builds infrastructure enabling seamless application deployment
  • Defines standards to create a self-service platform environment

Interns gain experience in solving real engineering challenges, learning best practices, and contributing to the foundation of MongoDB’s data ecosystem.

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks, running from May to July. All interns follow a hybrid working model and are expected in office 3 days a week.

  • Proficiency in any one programming language:
    Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, Node.js, or a comparable object-oriented language
  • Graduation Date: Spring 2027
