Job Description – GenC
The GenC role involves the following responsibilities:
- Understanding business requirements, raising clarifications, and creating relevant documentation
- Developing, maintaining, testing, debugging, and deploying code as per requirement specifications
- Understanding data requirements and developing test scenarios
- Working in an Agile application development environment and following the SDLC
- Creating low-level designs for components
- Identifying and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Proactively addressing issues and mitigating points of failure
- Taking ownership to deliver goals in a timely and efficient manner
- Participating as a project team member in meetings and technical sessions
- Delivering reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions
- Continuously upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling on new technologies
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Working collaboratively in a team environment
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to 2024 & 2025 batch candidates from specific B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech streams
- Streams such as Leather Technology, Food Technology, Fashion Technology, etc. are excluded
- Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (59.9% rounding off is not allowed)
- At the time of joining, candidates must have a minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree
- No standing arrears at any stage
- Appropriate CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered as per university norms
- Students with standing arrears are not eligible
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location, shift timing, and technology is mandatory
- Open to Indian nationals / OCIs currently residing in India
- All hiring communications will be sent only to the registered personal email ID in Superset, which must not be changed during the hiring process or until FTE onboarding
